Can you take a car from Singapore to Johor Bahru?

Short answer: You can drive your own Singapore-registered car to Johor Bahru if it has a valid Malaysian Vehicle Entry Permit (VEP) and at least three-quarters of a tank of fuel. Singapore private hire cars, including limos, may not carry paying passengers across the border; licensed cross-border taxis can. We can drive you to the checkpoint or arrange a quote on request.
