What the rules say
Under Singapore’s rules, cross-border passenger transport between Singapore and Malaysia by car is limited to licensed cross-border taxis. Licensed Singapore taxis may pick up anywhere in Singapore and drop off in Johor Bahru, Iskandar Puteri, Forest City, Kulai and Senai. Singapore private hire cars cannot provide this service, and LTA takes enforcement action against illegal cross-border services.

What to prepare
- A passport valid for at least six months for every passenger
- Your Malaysia Digital Arrival Card, if required for your nationality
- Extra time on Friday evenings, weekends and public holidays, when checkpoint queues are long
