Is Uber available in Singapore?
Short answer: No. Uber does not offer rides in Singapore; it sold its Southeast Asian business to Grab in 2018. At Changi Airport you can use metered taxis or the private hire apps the airport lists: Grab, Gojek, Zig, Tada, Ryde and Geolah. What happened to Uber
In March 2018 Grab announced that it had acquired Uber’s Southeast Asia operations, including Singapore, and moved Uber’s riders and drivers to the Grab platform. The Uber app will not book a ride in Singapore, so install an alternative before you fly.

Setting up an app before you travel
- Install the app at home, verify your phone number and add a card while you have reliable internet.
- Changi has free Wi-Fi if you have no roaming data.
- At Terminal 4, ride-hailing pick-up (doors 4 to 8) is separate from private car pick-up (doors 1 to 3).
When a pre-booked car is the better choice
If you land late at night, travel with children who need a child seat, need a large vehicle for luggage, or simply want someone waiting with your name, a pre-booked car removes the guesswork.
